Funny,

I got up this morning after posting this story last night, and had an attitude that I will simply give love daily in Jamaica.
I was then surprised that Global voices picked up this story.Oh boy I need an Editor my brain said. lol

So today was supposed to be my cycle day, but I was tired from my weekend run, so I did speed walking with weights.
It was fun whistling my favorite tune and saying hello to almost everybody I saw on the streets. I chatted with the Helpers walking in to work, and the vision reminded me of Spanish workers arriving to offices in Washington DC at 6pm to start the night cleaning shift. These women walked slowly up the hill as the sun was out and it was hot, chatted and smiled, as they are off to clean houses. Hard work in this heat came to mind.

I then had one Helper tell me a story about her water and electric bills, being on the verge of "cut off" status because, according to her, the employer had not paid her salary last week Friday as promised.
" Meh could not even buy food for meh pickney them ahh eat" she said.
" wha me supposed to do" Her three pals all consoled her as best as they could. "them too tief" one woman said. Oh boy another day in Jamaica, my mind said.

"another reason for crime" as when this woman then steals from her employers they will wonder why.

Sad,sad.
